Terms of Service

1. What Vantage does

Vantage is a viewer for analytics you already own. It connects, using credentials you provide, to third-party analytics platforms (currently PostHog and Amplitude) and displays your metrics and charts. Vantage does not generate, host, or independently verify that data.

2. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the API keys and credentials you enter, for keeping them secure, and for any activity performed with them.
• You represent that you are authorized to access the analytics data you connect and that doing so complies with your organization’s policies.
• Your use of PostHog and Amplitude through Vantage remains subject to those providers’ own terms of service and rate limits. You are responsible for complying with them.
• You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to access data you are not permitted to access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt or overload it, circumvent security, access it through unauthorized means, or reverse engineer, decompile, or resell it except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.

4. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party APIs and infrastructure (including PostHog, Amplitude, and hosting providers). We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, changes, or the terms and pricing between you and them. Interruptions or changes to a third-party service may affect Vantage.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any metric displayed is accurate or complete — always verify important figures directly in PostHog or Amplitude.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vantage and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. When we update these Terms we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting your sources and removing the app. We may suspend or limit access to the Service if necessary to protect it or to comply with the law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator of Vantage is based, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there.
